Environment Research Center

Is a national R&D institution responsible for
research and implementation of renewable energies
and energy efficiency in Palestine. Its mission
includes abatement of GHG emissions and clean of the
environment
PEC was established in 1993, followed to Palestinian
energy Authority (PEA) and achieved by its chairman.
PEC is linked with national, regional, and
international partners through a very strong network
based on partnership.
PEC has independent financial management audited by
both Palestinian Energy Authority and Ministry of
Finance.
