The project aims to build the capacity and assist implementation of rational use of energy measures in industry that lead to reduction in the specific energy consumption and best utilization of renewable energy resources with improvement of productivity, quality, and reduction in environmental pollution. The project of two years duration will be implemented by PEC with cooperation of the Palestinian General Federation of industries- PFI. The project is partially funded by ADEME to cover the manpower of the project. Other interested party for financial or technical support is welcome and invited to participate.

 Palestinian Energy & Environment Research Center is currently under collaboration contact with Bier Zeit University for monitoring the performance of the central solar water heating system used for supply its cafeteria with hot water. For more details click on the picture.

  This kind of monitoring is based on field measurements of temperatures, radiation and flowrate, computerized analysis and evaluation of results. The data can be collected by local and remote connection. This activity is an integrated part of ASTEMB project.
